and provide digital copies of the following documents:
  • Passport copy. A copy of your valid, signed passport with at least 6 months validity. Please do NOT send your original passport.

  • Passport pages. Provide evidence of past travel. This should be a copy of all of the pages of your current passport showing all entry and exit stamps from other countries. Also provide a copy of all pages of your expired passport if available.

  • Proof of status. Copy of Green Card (both sides) or other proof of legal status in the US (such as copy of I-20, US visa, H1B approval notice, etc.) In case the applicant is an F1 or H1B US visa holder, a copy of the I-94 (the I-94 is a document stapled to the passport) is required. Provide evidence of your visa or residence status in your country of residence, including your right to return.

  • Bank statement. Copy of the applicant's most recent monthly bank statement. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.

  • Employment letter. This could include a letter from your employer stating your current role or a copy of your employment contract. If you are applying for a Visitor visa, you can also include payslips and confirmation from your employer that you have approved leave. If you are self employed, provide evidence of your business licence or registration and any other supporting documentation you have to demonstrate your role.

  • Itinerary. Copy of an itinerary or flight reservation from an airline or travel agent. Please do not purchase tickets until the visa has been issued. You may also provide Evidence of planned tourism activities in Australia, including hotel reservations and holiday or recreation plans.

  • Immediate Family Information. Evidence of immediate family members in country of residence. Please fill out Family Composition form and provide copies of valid ID and their contact information of your family members.

  • ID Card. Provide a copy of your national identity card/s (other than your passport). You must provide a copy of both sides of each card.

  • Additional documents. (may be required) - Exceptional reasons for extended stay (over 12 months).

If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

  • Business invitation. Provide evidence of your proposed business activities in Australia. This could include: Business reason for travel to Australia. An invitation letter detailing the purpose of the visit (include contact details of the inviter) Or a registration for a conference or event.

  • Immediate Family Information. Evidence of immediate family members in country of residence. Please fill out Family Composition form and provide copies of valid ID and their contact information of your family members.

  • Birth certificate. Birth or marriage certificates of immediate family not accompanying you to Australia: Provide evidence of your intention to return to your home country.

  • ID Card. Provide a copy of your national identity card/s (other than your passport). You must provide a copy of both sides of each card.

  • Additional documents. (may be required) - Exceptional reasons for extended stay (over 12 months).

  • Passport copy. A clear scan of the information page of your valid, signed passport.

  • Passport-type photograph. Submit a recent, high-resolution photo (not on a white background) with a neutral expression. Provide 2–3 options to ensure embassy approval.
