Free import
• For travelers aged 18 or older: 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250 g of tobacco.
• For travelers aged 18 or older: 1 L of wine or 1 L of spirits.
• Perfumed spirits: 10 fluid ounces (about 0.3 L).
• Other goods up to a value of XCD 1,000 (EC$1,000).
• The allowances do not apply if you return to Grenada after less than 24 hours abroad, or if the goods are for commercial use.
• Complete the online Immigration and Customs (ED) form, available from 72 hours before arrival, and keep the receipt on your phone or printed to show to Customs.
• At Maurice Bishop International Airport, use the green channel only if you have nothing above the allowances and no prohibited or restricted items. Otherwise use the red channel and declare your goods. If in doubt, choose the red channel.
Currency
• Cash and monetary instruments over USD 10,000 (or the equivalent in other currencies) must be declared to Customs on arrival.

Restricted
• Firearms and ammunition need a Firearm Import Permit from the Chief of Police, granted only for a good reason. A traveler who declares a firearm without a permit must leave it on board or hand it to Customs in a sealed packet until departure.
• Fireworks and explosives are restricted imports.
• Gold, including gold bullion, needs written permission from the Ministry of Finance.
• Fruit, vegetables, plants, seeds and other plant products need an import permit from the Pest Management Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture (apply at least 1 week before arrival) and a phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin. They are inspected on arrival and must be free of pests, disease and soil.
• Meat, animal products, honey and other food must be declared to Customs on arrival.
• Dogs and cats need an import permit from the Government Veterinary Officer, Ministry of Agriculture, St. George's. The application must give the animal's age, sex, colour and breed, and the port, time and carrier of arrival. The permit must be shown to Customs together with a rabies vaccination certificate and a general health certificate issued within 2 weeks before arrival.
• Birds, reptiles and insects need an import licence from the Ministry of Agriculture. Imported animals may be quarantined.
