Global distribution giant Sabre confirmed on 2 November 2025 that it has activated All Nippon Airways’ IATA New Distribution Capability (NDC) offers across its Sabre Red 360 and GetThere corporate booking tools. Travel management companies can now shop, compare and service ANA’s rich-content fares—including paid-seat bundles and lounge passes—without exiting their normal workflow.
The development is especially relevant for Australian corporates because ANA’s Tokyo–Sydney and soon-to-resume Tokyo–Perth services feed extensive Star Alliance connections across North America and Europe. Sabre handles over 60 per cent of TMC bookings in Australia, meaning mobility managers can immediately access the new content and apply existing programme discounts.
Until now, ANA’s NDC fares were available only via the airline’s portal or select aggregators, creating reconciliation headaches and limiting travellers’ ability to change tickets through agency support desks. Sabre’s integration allows mid-trip servicing, unused-ticket tracking and duty-of-care reporting—critical compliance features for government and resource-sector clients.
ANA said the next phase will add continuous-pricing fares and carbon-offset bundles in early 2026. Sabre is working with Virgin Australia to enable interline combinations, which could open through-fares from regional Australia to North America via Tokyo.
