Free import
• For travelers aged 18 or older: 200 ml of perfume and eau de toilette.
• For travelers aged 18 or older: up to 4 L of alcoholic beverages in total, either 2 L over 16% alcohol (such as whisky, rum or gin) and 2 L of 16% alcohol or less (such as beer or wine), or 4 L of 16% alcohol or less.
• For travelers aged 18 or older: 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 200 g of other tobacco products.
• For travelers aged 18 or older: other goods worth up to SCR 15,000, plus one electronic item (a phone, a tablet or a laptop).
• Travelers under 18: 200 ml of perfume and eau de toilette, other goods worth up to SCR 8,000 and one electronic item (a phone, a tablet or a laptop). Travelers under 18 may not bring in alcohol or tobacco.
• Duty-free goods must be for personal use and not for sale. Goods above the allowance must be declared in the red channel and are taxed; failure to declare can lead to fines, seizure of the goods and prosecution.
Currency
• Cash and monetary instruments (such as cheques, traveller's cheques, bills of exchange, promissory notes, bearer bonds and money orders) worth more than SCR 50,000, or the equivalent in foreign currency, must be declared on arrival in the customs section of the Seychelles Travel Authorisation.
Prohibited

• Counterfeit coins, banknotes and bearer negotiable instruments
• Knuckle dusters
• Sweets, snacks, toys and other non-tobacco products that look like tobacco products (electronic cigarettes and e-liquids are not included)
• Plastic straws and balloons, including toys containing balloons
• Asbestos products, banned pesticides and toxic chemicals, and gases or equipment containing CFCs or HCFCs
• Raw hides, skins and furskins, and waste of any kind
• Uniforms of the Seychelles Defence Forces or police, clothing similar to them, and material with their camouflage print (only members of these forces may import them)
Restricted
• Firearms, ammunition, fireworks, explosives and realistic replica guns need prior approval from the Commissioner of Police.
• Spear guns must be declared on arrival. Using spear guns for fishing is banned in Seychelles.
• Live animals, including pets, need prior written approval from the Department of Agriculture before they are brought in.
• Meat, fish and seafood, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh spices (such as ginger), live plants, bulbs, cut flowers, wood and fertilisers need prior approval from the Department of Agriculture. All animals, plants and products of animal or plant origin must be declared on arrival.
• Endangered species (CITES) and articles of ivory, tortoiseshell, coral, horn or mother-of-pearl need approval from the ministry responsible for the environment.
• Medicines and other pharmaceutical and veterinary products are restricted goods that need approval from the Ministry of Health; declare them if in doubt.
• You must also declare controlled substances, obscene articles, toxic substances, dangerous weapons, commercial goods and any goods you carry for another person.
