Lufthansa Group winter timetable goes live – implications for Swiss-based corporates
The wider Lufthansa Group—covering Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings—activated its winter 2025/26 timetable on 26 October. Group-wide priorities are schedule stability and higher premium-cabin capacity, but several changes matter specifically to Swiss travellers.

Austrian Airlines now operates all Milan flights into the city-centre Linate Airport instead of Malpensa, shaving at least 45 minutes off ground transfers for Swiss executives travelling via Vienna. SWISS retains its Washington D.C. service and adds frequency to Krakow, while Eurowings increases leisure capacity from Basel to Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife.

The group has also harmonised its ‘Allegris’ long-haul cabins, meaning status holders booked on mixed-carrier itineraries (e.g., SWISS outbound, Lufthansa inbound) will experience more consistent seating and Wi-Fi. Travel buyers should update their traveller-tracking tools: new flight numbers apply to several code-shares, and the start-of-winter transition historically sees a spike in misconnections.
