Employer-Branding Forum at The Circle Highlights New Talent Strategies for International Firms

Employer-Branding Forum at The Circle Highlights New Talent Strategies for International Firms
The Circle, the mixed-use complex adjoining Zurich Airport, hosted its quarterly Business Event series on the evening of 22 October with a best-practice session devoted to employer branding. HR executives from Migros Bank, University Hospital Zurich and aerospace supplier Beyond Gravity shared case studies on how to differentiate Swiss-based roles in a hyper-mobile talent market.

Speakers emphasised that post-pandemic hybrid work and rising permit scrutiny have forced companies to articulate clear relocation value propositions—from dual-career support to flexible commuter models for cross-border staff. Beyond Gravity, for instance, revamped its expatriate policy to allow engineers to work remotely from EU hubs up to 40 percent of the time, easing family-relocation barriers while retaining a Swiss contract for pension purposes.

The event drew more than 120 participants, many of them mobility and rewards managers whose firms maintain regional headquarters near the airport. Organiser Flughafenregion Zürich said demand was the highest since the forum’s launch in 2022, underscoring growing concern over talent shortages and housing costs around Switzerland’s main business gateway.

For mobility professionals, the key takeaway was the convergence of employer branding and assignment design: candidates judge an offer not only on salary but on how seamlessly an organisation handles residence permits, schooling and spouse careers. Attendees also previewed The Circle’s upcoming concierge service that will bundle temporary housing, schooling advice and visa administration into one package—a potential game-changer for short-term assignees.

With Zurich Airport forecasting passenger volumes back at 2019 levels by early 2026, The Circle’s ecosystem of hotels, clinics and offices is positioning itself as a one-stop relocation platform. Businesses that master employer branding in this environment, speakers concluded, will gain a decisive edge in the competition for globally mobile professionals.
