Low-cost carrier Wizz Air will inaugurate two Romanian destinations from Prague next week as the European winter timetable starts. Four weekly Airbus A321 flights to Bucharest begin on Sunday 26 October, followed by twice-weekly A320 services to Iași on Tuesday 28 October. The expansion strengthens business links with one of Czechia’s fastest-growing trade partners and offers multinational employers more options for shuttling shared-services staff between the two EU states.
Introductory fares begin at €29 one way, and Wizz Air has signalled interest in opening a Prague base if demand holds. Travel-managers should note that the flights operate from Terminal 1, meaning passengers from Romania will undergo EES biometric checks on arrival.
