• Andorra has no airport. Travelers arrive by road through France or Spain and must first meet EU customs rules at that border.
• Goods for personal use in your luggage are free of Andorran indirect tax (IGI) up to a total value of EUR 900, as long as you did not claim a tax-free (VAT) refund on them when buying them.
• If you claimed a tax-free (VAT) refund on the goods, the allowance is EUR 300 for travelers aged 15 or older and EUR 150 for travelers under 15.
• Goods above the allowance must be declared to Andorran customs, with the invoice, and IGI is paid at the border. Allowances cannot be pooled between travelers.
• Industrial goods bought outside the EU that were not cleared through EU customs are also charged the EU common customs tariff on entry to Andorra.
Currency
• There is no limit on the amount of euros or foreign currency you can bring into Andorra.
• Cash of EUR 10,000 or more (or the equivalent in other currencies) must be declared to Andorran customs on entry. Undeclared cash can be seized. The same amount must also be declared to EU customs when you leave or enter the EU in France or Spain.

• Endangered species of plants and animals and products made from them (CITES) need CITES permits.
• Weapons, ammunition and cultural goods need prior authorization from the French or Spanish authorities when carried across the EU border.
• Medicines are allowed in quantities for personal use; carry a copy of your prescription or medical report.
• Pets (dogs, cats, ferrets) need a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination given at least 21 days before travel and an EU pet passport. Pets coming from outside the EU need an official veterinary health certificate; pets from countries not on the EU approved list also need a rabies antibody test taken at least 30 days after vaccination and 3 months before travel.
