• Personal belongings and gifts not intended for commercial use, up to EUR 430 per traveler arriving by air or sea, EUR 300 per traveler arriving by road, and EUR 150 for travelers under 15 (tobacco and alcohol are not included in these amounts).
• For travelers aged 17 or older: 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 250 g of smoking tobacco.
• For travelers aged 17 or older: 1 L of spirits over 22% alcohol, or 2 L of alcoholic beverages up to 22% alcohol (including sparkling and fortified wines).
• For travelers aged 17 or older: 2 L of still wine and 10 L of beer.
• 3 kg of coffee for personal use.
Currency
• Cash, bearer negotiable instruments, precious metals, precious stones, valuables and antiques worth EUR 10,000 or more (or the equivalent in other currencies) must be declared to customs on arrival, together with their purpose and supporting documents.
• The declaration (RTVK form) is free of charge and applies to all travelers, whatever the means of transport. Failure to declare is fined, and the fine grows with the amount and repeated offences.

• Counterfeit and pirated goods, except non-commercial items in personal luggage within the duty-free limits
Restricted
• Firearms and ammunition: foreign citizens may bring firearms into Albania only with a temporary authorization issued by the Albanian State Police.
• Endangered species of plants and animals and products made from them (CITES) need a permit from the Albanian CITES Management Authority.
• Pets (dogs, cats, ferrets) need a microchip (or tattoo), a current rabies vaccination (for pets older than 3 months) and an official veterinary health certificate issued within 10 days of travel or an EU pet passport. A rabies antibody (titer) test is also required unless the pet travels from, and transits only through, the EU or countries on the EU approved (Annex II) list.
