Air Arabia launches daily Kraków–Sharjah flights, boosting Poland–UAE connectivity
Low-cost carrier Air Arabia began operating daily services between Kraków’s John Paul II International Airport and Sharjah on 27 October, up from five weekly rotations in the shoulder season. The move caps a record year for Poland–Gulf connectivity: LOT and Emirates already fly daily Warsaw–Dubai, Etihad serves Warsaw–Abu Dhabi four times a week, and Flydubai links three Polish cities to its Dubai hub.

For corporate travel managers the new frequency means same-day east-bound connections to India and Southeast Asia via Sharjah, often at fares 20–30 % lower than through Dubai. Exporters of high-value pharma and e-commerce goods also gain an extra seven tonnes of weekly belly-hold capacity out of southern Poland, complementing LOT Cargo’s Warsaw uplift.

Tourism boards expect the service to attract more Middle-Eastern visitors to Kraków’s tech and cultural sectors and to feed winter-sun outbound traffic. The Polish-UAE Business Council notes that easier access will support the growing number of Polish engineers on short-term assignments to Sharjah’s free-trade zones.

Travellers should, however, note that Sharjah requires pre-departure biometric enrolment for e-gates; mobility teams may wish to schedule staff briefings on UAE smart-gate registration to avoid airport queues. Air Arabia says it will transition the route from A320neo to larger A321neoLR aircraft if demand remains strong through Q1 2026.
