Bucharest operates four times per week using 239-seat A321neo aircraft, while Iași starts at two weekly frequencies on the 180-seat A320neo. Wizz Air executives say bookings from Czech SMEs with Romanian suppliers have exceeded expectations, as has demand from Romanian tech contractors commuting to Prague.
The new routes intensify competition with flag carrier TAROM on the Prague–Bucharest sector and give Czech employers a nonstop connection to Iași’s growing IT outsourcing hub.
