Flybondi Announces Seasonal Maceió–Buenos Aires Flights with Black-Friday Fares From R$ 555
Low-cost carrier Flybondi used Brazil’s Black Friday media buzz on 6 November 2025 to unveil a new twice-weekly seasonal service linking Maceió (MCZ) and Buenos Aires (AEP) between 15 December 2025 and 27 March 2026. Introductory one-way fares start at R$ 555 (about US$ 110), taxes included, while round-trips are advertised at R$ 1 711.

The route fills a gap left by legacy airlines that have concentrated Argentine capacity on Recife and Fortaleza. For Alagoas’ tourism board, the extra 9 000 inbound seats could inject more than R$ 40 million into the local economy during the peak summer period. Argentine visitors consistently rank among Brazil’s top spenders, averaging US$ 90 per day on accommodation and services.

Corporate mobility teams with operations in northeastern Brazil also benefit. Late-2025 marks the completion of several wind-power projects in the region, and Flybondi plans belly-cargo options that will allow engineering firms to expedite spare parts between partner facilities in Buenos Aires province and Alagoas.

The carrier will operate Boeing 737-800 aircraft configured with 189 seats, departing Maceió on Mondays and Fridays at 19:35, and returning from Buenos Aires at 14:10. Flybondi has hinted that, if load factors exceed 75 %, the service could become year-round and additional frequencies to Salvador might follow.

Travel buyers should factor in Flybondi’s ultra-low-cost model: checked bags, seat selection and onboard meals are charged separately. Nevertheless, even fully-bundled fares remain roughly 30 % cheaper than existing one-stop options via São Paulo or Rio.
