Air Dolomiti adds Prague–Frankfurt connection, strengthening Lufthansa Group hub access
Italy-based Air Dolomiti, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lufthansa, launched a new daily Prague–Frankfurt flight on 26 October. The service complements Lufthansa mainline frequencies and provides additional feed into the German carrier’s biggest trans-Atlantic and intra-Asia hub.

Operating with a 100-seat Embraer E195, the morning departure from Prague is timed to connect with early afternoon long-haul banks to North America and India. For Czech corporates, the extra frequency offers more seat availability in business class—a cabin that has been chronically tight following the capacity cuts of 2020–23.

The route is part of a broader Lufthansa Group realignment that assigns thinner business-point markets to regional affiliates, freeing up mainline aircraft for higher-yield sectors. Corporate buyers with Lufthansa corporate agreements can book the Air Dolomiti code under the same fare ladder and secure lounge access.

Air Dolomiti says it will monitor performance over the winter before deciding on a second daily rotation. Prague Airport welcomes the move as validation of its strategy to diversify carrier mix while maintaining strong hub connectivity for globally mobile talent.
